Native Land shortlisted for two EG Awards 2023

Journal — July 6, 2023 Native Land shortlisted for two EG Awards 2023

Native Land is a finalist in two categories for the EG Awards 2023.

  • UK Company Award
  • Best Workspace Award

The judges recognised Native Land’s transition from a leading prime residential developer to a successful mixed-use and commercial developer. The panel acknowledged our place as a forward-thinking, human-centric, sustainable developer, cemented by a raft of leasing deals, including with The Carbon Trust.

Buoyed by the success of our sustainable, high-quality workspaces, Native Land has pursued and secured a raft of additional office planning permissions, totalling more than 260,000 sq ft, one of which was a development originally earmarked for prime residential.

We are pleased to be shortlisted for UK Company Award alongside Battersea Power Station Development, Grainger, Grosvenor, Muse and Unite Students. The category recognises UK businesses that have been market leaders and have adapted to challenges.

Similarly, having Arbor shortlisted for Best Workspace Award alongside other exemplar spaces by Derwent London, Gensler and Related Argent is testament to our approach. Judges were looking for outstanding spaces that successfully attract top talent, are environmentally sound and focus on wellbeing.

Arbor is an example of this with its strong sustainability credentials and its position as part of a wider sustainable development at Bankside Yards. All eight buildings and the railway arches will connect to a proposed all-electric ‘fifth generation’ energy network – the biggest in the UK.

We look forward to celebrating the successes with industry partners later this year.
