Native Land has announced the appointment of Dr Joanna Kennedy OBE FREng as a non-executive Director. As a highly accomplished chartered civil engineer and project manager, Joanna will be bringing project delivery and programming expertise to the board of Native Land to complement the company’s strong in-house capabilities in this field.
Joanna has considerable experience of leading complex high profile construction projects in various sectors including commercial, infrastructure, transport, arts, heritage, education and research facilities. Her previous roles include Director and Global Leader for Programme and Project Management at Arup, where she was a founder of their award-winning project management business.
Commenting on her appointment, Native Land’s CEO Alasdair Nicholls said:

During her career Joanna has received several awards including a Woman of the Year in the Atkins Inspire awards in 2007 and the CBI/Real Business First Woman of Engineering in 2013.
