Emily Locke takes the title of Fastest Female at the LandAid 10k on the 9th June. More than 800 runners made it over the finish line at the 20th annual LandAid 10k summer run, which was this year held on Clapham common. Native Land, represented by 9 participants, and other delegates from the property industry came together for this fantastic event in aid of youth homelessness. With varying degrees of trepidation the runners embarked on the course in which personal bests were smashed and course records challenged on a day of good conditions and competitive spirit.
Native Land is a proud supporter of LandAid, who works to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK who experience disadvantage due to their economic or social circumstances and this event is one of LandAid’s biggest fundraising events in the calendar.
Emily Locke, was the star of the show completing the 10k in the astonishing time of 44 minutes and 48 seconds which made her the fastest female runner (under 45) of the day! Massive congratulations to Emily on such an achievement and well done all for participating!
