The milestone moments that have shaped Native Land in 2025

Journal — December 17, 2025 The milestone moments that have shaped Native Land in 2025

2025 has been a momentous year for Native Land, with exceptional progress delivered across our prime residential, next-generation commercial and new retail projects in central London and across the UK.

We have been reflecting on the key milestones – from project launches to development completions to charity fundraising events – that have shaped the last 12 months:

  • The highly anticipated residential building, Opus, launched in April, with over 500 industry leaders alongside the Native Land team to celebrate in style with an exclusive launch event at Bankside Yards. Progress on site has been rapid, as by September the South Bank tower topped out, with the structure standing at 170 metres tall above London’s River Thames.
  • Meanwhile at Arbor, our next generation workspace, the Native Land team unveiled 6,000 sq. ft of fully fitted, beautifully designed office space on the fourth floor, now home to Mark Anthony Brands.
  • Within the historic arches at Bankside Yards, our latest retail offering arrived – Volta Café Wine Bar and opened its doors.
  • In May, Kova KX, Native Land and Ashby Capital’s 70,000 sq. ft life science development in London’s King’s Cross, was fully pre-let two years ahead of the anticipated completion of the building. This marked the largest life sciences letting in the UK in 2025.
  • By the autumn, 100 George Street W1 completed, with residents moving into the super-prime modern Marylebone apartments. Designed by Hopkins Architects, the apartments offer access to hotel-style wellbeing amenities, including a spa and treatment room, a private gym, residents’ lounge and cinema room. The Native Land team marked the occasion in style with a celebratory launch in the 100 George Street duplex penthouse in October.
  • The former Lipton Tea Headquarters, SIRA, topped out in October, with the Native Land team joined by client Shorea Capital, architects, Stiff + Trevillion, contractor, 8 Build, structural engineer, Heyne Tillet Steel, project managers, Storey and planning consultants, DP9 to reflect on the milestone moment.
  • Throughout the year the Native Land team have enjoyed taking part in charity fundraising events, including the JLL property triathlon, Buccleuch Challenge, Built World Cup and Knight Frank’s sponsored cycle ride. Thank you to all those who donated and helped raise money for such worthwhile causes.

We would like to thank all our fantastic project partners, design and construction teams who have made all these landmark moments possible this year. We look forward to all that 2026 has in store.
