“What seals the deal at the site poised to be the UK’s first fossil fuel-free mixed-use development is its suite of well-being and fitness facilities that take the meaning of self-care to tranquil new heights”, writes Robb Report in its recent feature on wellness-focused residential communities. Among destinations from Cabo to Abu Dhabi, Opus at Bankside Yards stands out as the only London-based development to make the list.
Located at the southern end of Blackfriars Bridge, Opus is set to become the tallest residential building in prime central London. Designed by PLP Architecture, the interlocking three-tower structure forms part of Bankside Yards.
Inside, wellness takes centre stage. Beneath the arches of a former railway, residents will have access to a spa with treatment rooms and a sauna, a yoga and Pilates studio, a hydrotherapy pool, and further fitness spaces including a padel court and bouldering wall, to name a few.
Above, the Garden Rooms and podium gardens offer tranquil spaces for relaxation and socialising, while the Summit Club & Deck on the 23rd floor provides panoramic views of the River Thames.
