The New York Times has described Bankside Yards as offering a “next generation approach to heating and cooling building” which will provide an “important tool in the effort to reach net zero carbon emissions”.

Offering a fifth-generation heating and cooling system which can balance energy between buildings, Bankside Yards is setting the pace for approaches to decarbonisation in the UK.

“We are two or three years ahead of our competitors”, Giovanni Festa, project director for Sweco engineering consultancy said of the Bankside Yards project. Nicholas Gray, Director at Native Land agreed, as greener buildings “are what office tenants and residential buyers are increasingly looking for.”
