Native Land Shortlisted for Property Awards 2023

Journal — April 11, 2023 Native Land Shortlisted for Property Awards 2023

Native Land is a finalist in two categories for the Property Awards 2023.

  • Property Company of the Year
  • Newcomer Award – Commercial Property

The judges recognised the strength of the company’s strategic transition from prime residential developer to a bona fide mixed-use and commercial developer. Native Land’s industry-leading approach to sustainable development and community-focused mixed-use, including the UK’s first fossil fuel free major mixed-use scheme at Bankside Yards, has led to significant office pre-lets, including to the Carbon Trust.

The move beyond pure residential began with OneThreeSix on The Portman Estate in Marylebone, Native Land’s first major commercial development. OneThreeSix was successfully fully pre-let with one of the largest West End lettings at the time. Since then, our commercial portfolio has grown from strength to strength. At Native Land’s biggest project to date, the £2.5 billion mixed-use development Bankside Yards in London SE1, the 19-storey office Arbor completed in December 2022. Native Land has secured planning permission for its first development of lab-enabled space at Judd Street near King’s Cross, and for Building 1 and Building 8, strengthening the commercial offer at Bankside Yards.

We look forward to celebrating the successes with industry partners, collaborators and colleagues this summer.
