Journal — January 22, 2026 Native Land has been selected as one of Country & Townhouse’s Great British Brands for 2026

Native Land has been shortlisted as one of Country & Townhouse’s curated shortlist of Great British Brands for 2026. Entitled New Frontiers, this year’s issue explore how British brands are innovating across fashion, wellness, technology, geopolitics, craftsmanship and culture to shape the next era of luxury, at home and on the global stage. Alasdair Nicholls, Native Land CEO, shared his thoughts on why Native Land is a Great British Brand:

We offer a future-proofed vision of living and working – meeting the needs of today’s global citizens and investors.

Native Land has evolved from a luxury residential developer into being at the vanguard of “hyper-mixed” urban regeneration.”

The landmark fossil fuel-free major mixed-use development Bankside Yards and the exceptionally crafted Marylebone residence, 100 George Street W1 – completed at the end of 2025 – are both key examples of this. 100 George Street W1 was named by Knight Frank as the fastest selling development in Prime Central London last year, while Opus – the latest addition to Bankside Yards – will become the tallest residential building in Prime Central London.

Here are just some of the ways Native Land is upholding its commitment to be a Great British Brand:

  • Continuously innovating for a greener future, integrated sustainability into every project, pioneering clean energy, low-impact construction and biodiversity protection.
  • Creating authentic, inspiring neighbourhoods for future generations, blending home, work and culture into a connected community, enhancing quality of life and urban vitality.
  • Quality above all: Always aiming to deliver best-in-class, meticulously crafted developments.
