A sunny Friday in Shoreditch saw 20 teams across the Built World compete for a coveted trophy. This was not just a typical football tournament however – as these goals were for a good cause – combining football and fundraising to raise money for Balbek Bureau’s RE:Ukraine Initiative to build a community hub in Vorzel, Ukraine. Ranging from architecture to property to construction and consultancy, players from across the Built Environment played together to raise money for an important cause.

Well done to all the teams that took part, it was a fantastic tournament to be part of. With a special thanks to The Crowd, The Developer, Festival of Place and ING Media for organising such a memorable event. The total tournament raised £10,000 to help support the rebuilding efforts. The money raised will help to provide vital funding for spaces to rehabilitate local communities in Vorzel, Ukraine. Donations are focused on construction and engineering documentation to provide a smooth transition into the constructions stage of such a key centre.
