Native Land CEO, Alasdair Nicholls, spoke with August Man on luxury property trends, why Singaporean investors should invest in the London property market and what occupiers want when it comes to sustainable, energy-efficient real estate. Here are the key takeaways:
- In the past year, we have seen more geographic diversity in our buyers than ever. Native Land has sold properties to investors from 23 countries. South-east Asian buyers have shown an affinity for London property for many reasons, including the city’s diverse culture, its resilient property market, as well as the education system.
- The next generation of luxury property owners are prioritising sustainability more than ever. They are also willing to pay a premium for homes that offer well-being amenities and services. @Bankside Yards, offers a world-class mix of prime riverside residential spaces, which will offer residents brand-new cultural and wellness-focused spaces as well as access to a padel court, golf simulator, 10-metre hydro pool, bouldering wall, and more.
- When it comes to sustainability, Opus, Bankside Yards, will be 100 per cent electric from renewable sources and part of an unprecedented fifth-generation energy-sharing network. This will reduce energy usage and enable the site to operate at a net zero carbon level.
