Country & Town House has featured the ANDY EARL X Bankside Yards exhibition in its latest issue, currently on display within the historic railway arches at Bankside Yards on London’s South Bank. The coverage highlights one of the exhibition’s standout works, Andy Earl’s portrait of Sir David Attenborough, alongside internationally renowned musicians including Prince, Pink Floyd and Madonna.

Open until 8 August, the free exhibition showcases more than 40 photographs spanning Andy Earl’s four-decade career. Widely recognised for his distinctive portrait and music photography, Earl has worked with many of the world’s most influential cultural figures and created more than 120 album covers throughout his career.

The exhibition marks the start of a wider cultural programme at Bankside Yards and opens the site’s Victorian railway arches to the public for the first time in more than a century. Through exhibitions and events, Native Land is bringing new experiences to this historic part of the South Bank.

Located beside Tate Modern on the River Thames, Bankside Yards is the UK’s first major fossil fuel-free mixed-use development in operation. Once complete, the hyper-mixed neighbourhood will bring together homes, workplaces, hospitality, retail, wellness and cultural experiences, adding to the rich cultural ecosystem that defines the South Bank.
