Rising high above London’s South Bank, Opus now stands 170m tall above the River Thames. Once complete, these apartments will offer extraordinary views of the city’s skyline, including landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tate Modern.

Native Land is the driving force behind Bankside Yards, setting new standards in sustainable, fossil‑fuel‑free development. Opus, which is set to become one of the tallest residential towers in prime central London, is just one of eight buildings that will make up the hyper-mixed, hyper-connected but technically challenging scheme. Located by Blackfriars Bridge, the residential tower offers excellent connectivity between the South Bank and central London.

Throughout 2025 the Native Land team worked hard to ensure Opus is on schedule, combatting challenges faced along the way. The building officially topped out at 50 storeys earlier this year in September thanks to the dedicated work of Multiplex to bring to life the designs of award-winning architects PLP Architects, ODA, Gillespies and Enea.

Once complete, the 50-storey building will provide 249 next-generation residences, which will include access to four floors of exclusive-to-residents on-site amenities from a Padel court to a hydrotherapy pool.

A net zero carbon in operation building, Opus will set a new benchmark for sustainable urban development, prioritising clean energy, low‑impact materials, and smart building management.

The riverside destination is taking shape, as Opus will join the already constructed Arbor, as well as the 5-star Mandarin Oriental residences which are coming soon, alongside 3.3 acres of new public realm and the restoration of 14 Victorian railway arches into 50,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and cultural space.
