Bankside Yards will transform 5.5 acres of the south bank of the River Thames in central London. One of the leading architects behind the project, Lee Polisano of PLP Architecture, showed The Plan around Bankside Yards and the flagship office building, Arbor, as part of a documentary on the work of his practice.
Lee Polisano is the co-founder and President of PLP Architecture, the global architecture practice responsible for the masterplan and several buildings at Bankside Yards. In addition to completing Arbor in 2023, PLP is the architect of Opus, Native Land’s iconic, 50 storey residential masterpiece that will herald a new era of sustainable living at Bankside Yards.
PLP’s masterplan is focused on creating a net-zero operational carbon development that unlocks new connectivity, uniting the cultural districts of the South Bank and Bankside and creating a new economic focus for the northern part of Southwark.
The Plan’s documentary provides a fascinating insight into the work and culture of one of the world’s leading architecture practices, watch the full video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/rd7Q70LlBOA?si=LXio31doaxwy3m7l
