Bankside Yards has been featured in the latest edition of Attico Magazine, which explores how the 5.5-acre development is helping to expand the cultural heart of London.

In the feature, Simon Young highlights how Bankside Yards is creating a new destination on the South Bank, bringing together homes, workplaces, hospitality, retail, dining and cultural experiences in a vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood.

As Nicholas Gray, Executive Director at Native Land, explains:

“We are not just delivering homes but an entire ecosystem… elevating the area from a cultural hub into one of London’s most dynamic districts.”

This vision is already being realised through a growing programme of cultural activity. The historic railway arches at Bankside Yards, which had remained closed to the public for more than 150 years, are currently hosting the ANDY EARL x Bankside Yards exhibition. Open until 8 August, the free exhibition presents over four decades of the acclaimed photographer’s work and features portraits of influential figures from across music, culture and public life, including Sir David Attenborough and Robbie Williams.

Elsewhere within the development, Opus, designed by PLP Architecture, stands at the heart of Bankside Yards. Rising 50 storeys above the South Bank, the building is set to become the tallest residential tower in prime central London and will comprise 249 apartments with exceptional views across the city.
