    Planning application for luxury apartment scheme

    Native Land and Grosvenor have submitted a fresh planning application for a super prime two-acre residential development at Campden Hill by Holland Park.

    Previously part of Holland Park School in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the site has an existing permission for almost 157,000 sq ft (15,000 sq m) net of private apartments and has been sold by the Royal Borough to part finance the construction of a state of the art new secondary school on a separate site to the north. GC Campden Hill purchased the freehold site for just over £100m earlier this year.

    The JV commissioned John McAslan + Partners with a brief to create a world class apartment scheme for this significant site. The new application comprises 69 apartments in 177,900 sq ft (16,537 sq m) of net of private residential floor space, set amongst extensive, private landscaped gardens.

    The scheme will have unparalleled amenities, including a full concierge style entrance lobby, for this part of prime London.

    The site will be handed to the developer by the Council in September 2013 following final completion of the new school play areas.
