Launch Heralds New Era For South Bank

To celebrate the worldwide launch of NEO Bankside, Native Land and Grosvenor, welcomed nearly 500 guests to celebrate with them on 11th May. Guests included industry professionals, press and journalist, purchasers and occupants as well as investors. There were a number of musicians and performance artists scattered throughout the development, including the unique group, Pyromania, who put on a griping show of acrobatics, neon lights and a spectacular finale of flames and fireworks. Situated adjacent to Tate Modern, the Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners designed scheme, comprises 199 luxury apartments and 11,000 sq. ft. of retail space. NEO Bankside is a world class development that has contributed towards transforming the South Bank.

To date, the development has received unprecedented levels of interest, which has translated into over £140 million worth of sales. Demand for the remaining units is expected to stay at this high level over the coming months as further units are released onto the market.

Alasdair Nicholls, CEO of Native Land, said: “It has been great to share the launch of such an exciting development with so many people. The quality of this development can be measured by the interest we have received from investors and owner-occupiers alike, and the significant number of sales completed to date. NEO Bankside blends cutting edge design with an enviable location, creating one of London’s finest new prime residential developments.”

Peter Vernon, CEO of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland added: “This is an important milestone for this iconic residential development and we are very proud to have played a part in the regeneration of this culturally important part of London. It is a great achievement to have created a new and inspiring place in the capital that appeals both to London and international buyers alike and to have delivered something that so perfectly meets the expectations of this market.”

Pavilion A is now complete and occupied, Pavilion B will complete in the Summer 2011 and the whole of the remainder of the development will complete in spring 2012.
