Forming part of their landmark residential development at 10 Montrose Place in Belgravia, SW1, Native Land and Grosvenor have completed the affordable housing element of the scheme, at 19 Headfort Place, SW1, and officially handed over to Dominion Housing Group.
The scheme, which has been designed by Hamilton Associates, comprises eight extremely high quality social rented apartments, covering a total area of 6,500sq ft net. Situated off Halkin Street, to the east of Belgrave Square, the property is superbly located.
Speaking about the handover, Alasdair Nicholls, Chief Executive of Native Land, commented:
“The quality of design of 19 Headfort Place clearly shows Native Land’s commitment to providing on site, seamless design into affordable housing projects, even in prime value locations”.
Native Land and Grosvenor’s Montrose Place development is due to complete this summer. Comprising 18 newly-built “Manhattan-style” apartments covering 60,000 sq ft, together with extensive amenities, the majority of apartments have already been sold at record central London prices reflecting over £2,500 per sq ft. The scheme is set to become a truly world class address, incorporating the very best architecture and interior design, while remaining sensitive to the historic character of Belgravia, with its predominance of listed buildings.
