Native Land is proud to announce that NEO Bankside has scooped four awards for its distinctive landscaping design.
NEO Bankside was awarded “Best Landscape Architecture in United Kingdom” and “Best Landscape Architecture in London” at this year’s International Property Awards. The development also took two Gold Awards at this year’s national New Homes and Gardens Awards 2012, winning top prizes for the “Best Communal Garden / Landscape”, and “Best Landscaped Urban Development.”
NEO Bankside’s tranquil, tree-lined gardens blend private green spaces, seasonal fruit trees, bee hives and a well-stocked herb garden with linear groves of aspen and birch to form a public realm linking Bankside to Tate Modern during the daytime.
The landscape design, designed by Gillespies, helps to define public routes through the development, as well as creating a pocket park that establishes a strong relationship with the area of green space around the neighbouring Hopton Street.
NEO Bankside’s success at the International Property Awards and the New Homes and Gardens Awards acts as recognition of the careful consideration that led to the creation of a series of richly-detailed garden spaces, including groves of trees inspired by native woodlands.
NEO Bankside is a development by Native Land and Grosvenor. Further information on NEO Bankside can be found at http://www.neobankside.com/
